I have 4 potbellies with an Ark, 20 ducks , 13 hens plus a full house move with all equipment except heavy machinery.  Does anyone have the name of a company who can do this?  I have tried Brookfields but they haven't got back to me

Surely for livestock etc your better to do it yourself just let a removal company handle the normal house and contents of any outbuildings...

Hi, you dont say where you are moving from and to, or when. I moved to Aberdeenshire from yorkshire 10 years ago. To make the move we were quite ruthless with getting rid of stock. We didnt bring any bees, pigs, poultry or sheep. We only brought our goats. As we couldnt move into our property straight away we were fortunate in that we could leave our billies half way up the country and the girls travelled the whole way in our livestock trailer. Our furniture was put into storage until move in day.
Perhaps if you would share with us what transport you have available then you might get a few more replies to your request.

Its not easy but you will get there eventually!!! Good luck...

Perhaps a livestock haulier would take care of your creatures and maybe the ark whilst a removal company would sort out your household stuff.

I have now decided to do as you all suggest . I have found someone to move the pigs and I can load ducks and hens in my van so pretty much taken care of I think. Trying to get one company to do all is not my best idea so far !!!

I'm moving from Llandeilo to Ledbury in Herefordshire so not too far, about 90 mins .

I own the house already but paddocks need stock fencing in first so can move bits at a time which helps a lot with animal moving.

Just hope removals can move the ark !!!! but probably best to get a new one and sell this one here rather than moving it

When we moved last year we only had chickens/ducks and bees (and pets) and did ourselves with big dog crates in the back of a van. Was interesting doing the 30 min drive with a bee hive in the boot of the car but worked out ok. The coops we left as they had been solidly built and not possible to move and got new ones at the new place.

What is ark like?  ........... in the market for one (would still have to move it but only to Talley!

The Ark was brand new in March and is a great one recommended by the rescue centre where the pigs came from, you are more than welcome to have a look

I'll go out in a bit and take a pic and the dimensions, it houses my 4 pot bellies very easily
