Has anyone else been watching the delightful BBC Two program 'Wonders of the Solar System' with Brian Cox?

Amazing stuff that really puts existence into a perspective thats too wide angled for my mind to even contemplate - its just getting better every episode.

Yes bazz and I have just had a refresher from your link by it takes me back The 29 Squadron was stationed at RAF Binbrook some 8 miles away and day or night they would scramble 2 and overfly my house on the way to look at a plane that had ventured into our? air space. The Lightnings have gone and Binbrook is closed down. The pleasure my lads and I have had sitting on the road at Thorganby watching them take off and land and going once a year to openday. Its all gone now.We get the occasional Eurofighter fly over from RAF Coningsby but they are nothing like as effective in the noise generated I did so enjoy that bit of film from South Africa ;D ;D ;D  :farmer:
