Hi folks,

We are thinking about keeping a couple of turkey's for Christmas. Been trawling the net but can't find any information on what housing they need. We have a pig ark which will be empty over winter. It's made of recycled plastic, the same material as our hen house. Could easily build a roost for them for inside.

What do people think?

Should be ideal, if you get the heavy commercial type they'll not roost for long before they're too heavy to fly anyway.

Has the ark got a floor in it?. Turkeys don't like to be damp or wet all the time
