I have big ones and pygmy ones, and look after them the same really.  Well, the little pygmy goats have less food and hay, and hay racks have to be lower than normal, and they cannot see over half doors of course!!

There is a special pygmy goat mix, which is meant to suit pygmy goats better, but its more expensive so ours just have normal goat mix.

I have noticed the pygmy goats are not as keen on veg etc. as the bigger goats, maybe its just mine.

Pygmy goats can breed sooner than big goats.  They can get in kid at 5 months, and I think the males mature sexually at about two months.  So, technically they can breed twice a year too.  And mine do come into season  all the time, whereas the bigger goats tend te Autumn through to SPRING.
