Badger cull

Is anyone else within the badger cull area in Pembrokeshire/Surrounds? And whats peoples opinion on the subject?

however, i am not convinced that tb and badgers are completey related, (are the cattle infecting the badgers, or the badgers infecting the cattle?) but then we are in a tb free zone, i suppose if my cattle were being culled with tb and we also had badgers i might feel different. It must be heart renching when you loose your cattle to tb.
what happened to the vaccination programme in badgers
and i dont know why the government wont develop a vaccine for cattle, then none of this would be an issue

Don't think there's any around here. I also don't think there is substantial proof of badger to cow transmission. Most TB cases can be traced back to cow to cow, but the link between cow to badger (via droppings/urine etc) is still tenuous imo.
