No answers I'm afraid, but I'm following with interest as one of my ewes was a tiny bit snotty last night... (same as yours, well in herself!)

With highly changeable weather and the strain on lactating ewes I always suspect pneumonia if I see a runny nose at this time of year and give 5ml of Alamycin LA just in case.

Only a 50kg dose though MF, would that be your badger face dose? I would imagine your southdowns would weigh a lot heavier? Certainly the Z would weigh a lot more

Yup, BFs.  Not had an SD with a runny nose.

Hi Bugsy,

When I've had to give any of my Z ewes antibiotics - i.e. Duphamox LA it's usually 8ml although there are a couple of bigger ones that would be given 10ml  (based on vets advice in the past)
