Hi there, rods are 50p each for a cutting (excluding postage). I have personally planted willow at different times (sometimes when I didn't want it to grow e.g. for bean poles) and it has sprouted, it would depend of course on how damp your soil is and how much competition there is from weeds etc. If you were wanting to make a living structure, or fedge then I would keep it well watered.
I am sure it can be posted out, if you email me numbers and types of willow I will let you know availability. This cold spring has kept things back and the willow has not progressed as far as it would normally for the time of year.
