the great escape
« on: February 04, 2010, 07:08:08 pm »
came out to feed the pigs today as usual,
as i was putting the feed into the trough, i noticed there was only two pigs!!!!
to my surprise and shock i started the call-PIGS PIGS.......
looking in the ark, behind it,around it, still no sign.
then it dawned on me,check everywhere!!!!!
as soon as i went looking there was shep our dog chasing the pig around,
the gates were open and it made a dash for them, running through the thick mud(as you know what that is like!)
i managed to shout beth beth, got gates closed, beth came out(thank goodness)
as our pigs are just new it got a good look around the place before we were able to get it back in using a side board each
(them things are great as the pig goes only where it can see,not that you guys dont know!!)
anyway pigs are all fine, with a bit of swearing and team effort all is well again.
you gota love em for their brill characters. :pig: ;)

Will you please tell that to my pig!! He is sooo stubborn (or maybe agorophobic?!) and wont go far from the pen, tried boards, food, girls, prayer, and still he'll stop and turn for home!

Glad to here you got yours back ok
