land rest

how long can you keep pigs on same bot of land before it need rest prior
to more pigs coming on.
e.g. our 3 pigs will be ready for slaughter june/july we will then get another 3 poss 4 again.
how long can we keep doing this before we need to give the ground some rest.
will app any advice  :pig:

It would be far better to rest your ground between the two lots of piglets.  Is the area big enough to partition into two, therefore resting one side for about 3 months before the new pigs go onto it? 

Otherwise you will be caught between a rock and a hard place.  You will need to worm far more than you would if you gave the land at least 6 months rest, (preferably a year) and prolonged use of wormer can damage the pasture.
