Turkey Killing Cones
« on: January 14, 2015, 12:34:02 pm »
I killed three turkey stags last night but nearly killed myself in the process!  :innocent:

Time has taken its toll on the old body and my days of killing big stags by hand looks like they may well now be behind me.

I used to work on small scale commercial turkey farms which used these cones, does anyone know where I can buy them or does anyone actually have one I could buy off them?

I can find the standard cone type no problem but none with the lever handle for the neck.

Failing that I'm sure I could make one but thought I'd ask first and see.

I have one like that . I use it myself but anytime you need it you are more than welcome to borrow it.

Yeah but the standard cones don't help me, I don't bleed them, I just dislocate their necks
