Susan Boyle
« on: November 16, 2009, 12:51:56 pm »
Next Monday, 23 November, Susan Boyle's album will be released - globally. It will be interesting to see what happens now, it has been many months since the Talent Show which catapulted her to mega stardom. Having heard clips of each track on the album I have no doubts she will once again be Queen of the world as the album goes to No 1 around the world. I hope she deals with her success better this time around.

What is it about her? Nearly everytime I hear her sing, a lump comes into my throat, I find her very moving for some reason...my sister in law said the same and she never watched her on Britains got talent.

I could listen to her voice all day!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

She really has the most fabulous voice.  Such a pity it's taken 48 years for it to be heard in public.

Her version of Silent Night is quite haunting. I am looking forward to hearing all tracks in full on Monday and looking forward even more to watch Susan bask in all the glory next week when she takes the album to No 1 around the globe.

Fantastic...what is it about her?...I don't usually like that sort of music but it is sung from the heart!!! we will defiantly buy the album, I agree, silent night will be our Christmas song,,it will replicate "fairy tale of New York by the pouges and kirsty McCall"

I bought the album this morning and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. Sandy if you get it you will get no work done as you just want to sit and listen to it and enjoy the peace that goes with it. I also love "How great thou art" which is a big surprise.

I'm off soon, we both love her and she has a haunting and soleful sound that is rare..a lot of people can sing but few have that extra quality, I think she sings from her heart and her imajination that has been her life for years, a lot like "little voice" THe house is fairly clean, guests arriving later so some time to chill with SUsan I think!!
