Well who went and what did you see we're you showing how did you get on. My weekend was busy my Bantams did good, the RBST tent was very good and attracted a steady flow of people had a wee blether with Rosemary who could talk for days about her lovely Shetland cattle. Caron Stewart of Clash Farm Pedigree Saddlebacks who also has that passion for her pigs. Visited the Shetland sheep pens as they are my favourites. Also had a blether with Clare (Bruckley) in the goat tent just before she was going to show her pygmy goats another person with a passion for her animals. Lots to see some of the many things that interested me were Dalefoot Composts made with bracket & wool. The Clan Stunt Team were awesome, O and I thought the food was of a better standard this year. The one thing that was the most impressive was that passion I saw in so many of the exhibitors
Shetland sheep, Castlemilk Moorits sheep, Hebridean sheep, Scots Grey Bantams, Scots Dumpy Bantams. Shetland Ducks.

Great time at the show - Bonnie's pictures don't do her justice, she's beautiful. Well done Dougie, I did go up to the poultry tent but didn't catch you there.

Goat's did well, Cloud got 1st and Domino 2nd - and we got to go in a proper ring this year year which was nice as more people could see the goats. So many people through the goat tent which was very good.

Highlight for me was just catching the last showing of the Clan Stunt Team - they were fantastic, hopefully I'll have a couple of good pictures of them as I didn't stop clicking - wonderful to see those magnificent animals ridden.

And Mandy the Landy made it home, she had the once over from Kim's OH who said she was in pretty good order so she'll hopefully get us to a few more shows. Home at 12.15am which I thought was pretty good.

Already looking forward to seeing everyone at the next shows.

We went, I met Rosemary (was a bit starstruck!), but not sure if I met anyone else because of the real names/forum names thing!

Our sow spent 4 days snoring in the corner of the Rare Breeds tent and seemed very happy with the whole thing, it was lovely to meet Bonnie, and all the other animals - I REALLY want some Oxford Sandy and Blacks now.

   I was there!

And I met Mays, but clearly she has forgotten this  :P  Met several people on the RBST stand, but of them, I think Rosemary might have been the only member here. There was also happily a nice cider bar next door to the RBST stand....

My milker was first in her class, and sixth overall (in the interbreed inspection production lineup), other than that we had a third and a fifth, but our mistake didn't win anything- judge didn't like her weird ears  :(

A friend showed his Zwartbles for the first time at RHS, and got two 3rds in big classes, so he did well.

I nearly bumped into thestevens by walking into the goats tent as she came out, but I don't think she clocked me.

Saw the clan stunts team last year and thought they were fantastic, so made the effort to watch them again this year. Watched the Clydesdales turnouts (4's), love the turnouts, can't beat them.

Our old duck won best juvenile- full points to Rosemary for asking how old before they aren't classed as juvenile- it's the person showing them who is the juvenile! But anyway she was on championship row, so the lad we gave her to was really chuffed, and so I went to visit her.

Watched the falconry display, quack commando's- but missed out on anything at the woodcraft/pole climbing etc.
