Ram lamb

HI, I have a ram lamb l want to ring, he has the sack but only has tiny little balls that dont seem to have dropped :thinking:
(Knew a bloke like that once  :roflanim:) His 7 days are up tomorrow, if l wait a while will they drop?
The band would be too near his nipples if l did it now, any thoughts please  :sheep:

The problem if you wait is that legally you'd have to get the vet to do it under anaesthetic - £££ - some people on here seem to manage not ringing and selling in the autumn. Is that a possible option?
With 1 Angora and now 6 pygmy goats, Jacob & Icelandic sheep, chooks, a cat and my very own Duracell bunny aka BH !

Any breeder of small traditional sheep breeds will know what you are talking about  :innocent:, and our sheep do get ringed (when they are ready)... :innocent:

i seem to get 1 or 2 like this every year, i just mark it as a tup (just incase he slips past when seperating lambs) and put it with my keeping tup lambs.  :sheep:

We have 80(ish) texels and texel x suffolks, 10 lleyns, 21NE Mules, 2 Dexters with calves, Monty the labrador, Dottie, Bracken and Poppy the collies and 30 assorted hens.
