I have 3 cades that are 7-8 weeks old. 2 Tup and 1 Gimmer. I was going to keep these 3 but now that we have got 5 Tup ryeland lambs the 3 older ones are surplus to what we need
What sort of price do people charge for lambs of this age ? they are fully weaned and eating grass and lamb creep like there is no tomorrow and growing really well

They aren't usually sold at that age - the hard work is done and it's (more like) plain sailing from here! 

Can you keep them a few more weeks and sell in the store when the store mart starts up ?

I would think £25-£30 depending on size, breed. I buy mine as day olds for £10 but bought 6 4 1/2 month old orphan stores for £50 each last year.

  i would ask £40 each or 3 for £100. certainly no less than £30 each .(commercial types). but agree with sally if you have the grass hang on couple months

Thanks for the replys. we do have loads of grass but Cades being Cades they are a pain in the rear end.
You put them out and within 5 mins they escape and are back in, if we put them up the other place and we get a call to say they are running around the neighbours yard or they are following people out for a walk. Down here it isn't too much of a problem other than they head back to the  pens where we have the Ryelands at the moment

I had this issue last year with my 12 tame lambs... this year we've got slightly more, 17 in total, and they seem to be keeping as a flock more and touch wood haven't escaped yet. They still come to call but are not quite as tame as last year, maybe because they were on an adlib feeder which took some of the hands on contact away.

If you're really stuck I guess you could put them through market... it's a bugger when they won't stay in the field, I moved mine to a new field yesterday and told them if they escaped then it was a 1 way ticket to market next week
