My Lleyn were out the other day, I'm sure it was the Beulahs idea though

Don't you have a proven Shetland tup going Lady G?

Yes I will do, I dont want to put him in the market yet as he is 100% healthy, never had a problem with feet or anything, been bred for worm resistance, has a superb fleece, lovely nature, will walk on a halter etc etc so dont want him to go to meat, he is too good!!

He is perfect and I wish I could keep him but I'm not going to have the use for him next tupping time! so really want him to go to a breeding home, or I have sons from him if anyone wants ram lambs...

If I dont sell him I will pop him in with some of the bigger ewes, or my best fleeced shetlands

He is in Hampshire :)

We have a couple of Beulah x shetland lambs this year - they have medium length tails, and the fleece is a good combination of the both- one female lamb who is all black which we call silky because her fleece looks like silk, and a boy who has the buelah markings except the speck
als are ginger not black.  We have 6 shetland pedigree ram lambs-- As a community group we are undecided whether we keep our ram ( i would like to keep him) but some others want to get a bigger breed now all our sheep have lambed -We are in swansea so along way from Bala.  :)

Have a look at the Shetland sheep society website, and see if any near you are for sale - they have a for sale section on there.

If you give me your rough area I can get you the details of the local contact person (by pm).

I've got a shetland ram lamb near Llanidloes.  Fawn katmoget, not registered yet but can be.
Born beginning of April.

I tried a Wiltshire horn tup lamb on Shetlands and was happy with the out come.
The lambs were small at birth but grew quickly compared to the pure lamb.
