And folk wonder why I'm grey..
« on: April 25, 2014, 06:18:28 pm »
I brought a big hessian sack of spuds in from the barn 5 weeks ago to chit in the sunroom extension and had to explain to OH why. That sack started getting emptier because 'It's convenient'.
Half way down the sack i brought a second sack in which is also losing some of it's contents.

Today I'm told 'They're no blasted good.. they're all sprouting.' <sigh>

1st hundred went in today

Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

You are doing very well by only going grey    :trophy:
I would of ripped all my hair out and probably scalped him  :eyelashes: :roflanim: :roflanim:

My spuds aren't doing well I think I've part backed them while they were chitting in the tunnel. I planted them over a week ago and there is still no sign of life :dunce: :'( .

Bert,
OH planted ours almost three weeks ago and nothing showing.  Ours were quite deep down in the raised bed so they may take a while.
