I don't live in Scotland & that's just my opinion that law won't apply to us in England & wales.

Sorry, the comment wasn't aimed at you - I appreciate that the consultation is Scottish. In fact it wasn't "aimed" at anyone - it was simply an observation. :)

As Rosemary advised, anyone who feels strongly about this should reply to the consultation, although i have tried clicking on the link for the online response and it doesn't seem to work, just takes you to a different webpage. the best way to prevent the muzzling element being taken forward is to point out the problems it would cause.
