Farmers, Water and Woodland, Thursday 27th February, Ayr
A day looking at practical solutions for reducing diffuse pollution, planting trees to protect water courses and highlighting successful practical projects. Effective Field Drainage: Reducing Flood Risk & Improving Soil Performance Friday, 28th February 10-2, Palacerigg, Cumbernauld
A practical half-day event looking at the impacts of poor farm drainage, the benefits of improving it (like 30% more grass growth & reduced parasite risk), and soil management to reduce waterlogging and flooding. Soil, Muck & Money: Nutrient Management Event, Tuesday 4th March, Upper Largo, Fife

Field Lab: Anaerobic Digestion – Meeting 2, Thursday 3rd April, Cream o’Galloway, Gatehouse of Fleet
We will look at applying digestate to silage fields and compare the differences in cost, practicality and environmental impact between a conventional surface broadcaster and modern bandspreader.
