cooked food for ducks?
« on: September 10, 2009, 02:47:35 pm »
So far I've been giving my ducks only pasta, rice, porridge and cooked potato peelings, if we had any left over. Is other cooked food ok for them? I'm thinking spices and salt... :&>

Mine just get their pellets, plus any left over veg, and not good enough to eat veg from  the garden, plus some rice and pasta a friend brings round.

My ducks prefer worms to anything else they are given. They do like spaghetti especially in the winter when it is cold but appart from that and my bloody vegetables I am growing nothing else will do!

My chickens love worms and the Ducks love those horrid slugs, they are so repulsive but I go around collecting them from the bottom of the plant pots and under the logs, they catch them and run off to the water!!1
