Hiya - we are in the Scottish Borders and would like some Indian Runner Ducks and also some geese. Does anybody have any suggestions as to geese breeds and which might prove to be the most easily managed? I know that some of them are a bit crazy and not very friendly. Would like to source the birds as locally as possible - but having probs trying to find any. Very many thanks in anticipation. Nettle

Have you put a notice on the market place.  I have just swapped my 3 geese a few weeks ago!!!  I also live in the Borders.  Hopefully you will find some, someone on here is bound to have some!!  Good luck!! :)

Hiya - you know I haven't done the Market Place thing - will get to it. However, I was pointed in the direction of the Farm Park at East Links and the guy there said that he would organise me some. Don't see too many up here do you - or am I going around with my eyes closed? Hope you're getting on okay with yours. Happy Days. N,

HI!  There is a guy selling indian runners and embden geese on the market place but he is in arbroath, may be a bit far for you to travel.  Beware of embden's though as i just had to get rid of mine because they attacked my little boy every time he set foot outside the house!!! :)
