Or if you have two mates like I did, then all three of you can fight and roll about with them in the mud. :innocent:

Charging about like usual but not eating all the food?! Sounds lime normal behavior with disappointment at the food.

Even frm the same brand not all food is created equal, its cheap crap made with the cheapest crap available.
If they are eating all the good stuff they are fine. You also said between gales I fed them, pigs don't like crap weather either so after a quick bite they headed back in.

Dont start using drugs unnecessarily.

Go buy some barley they will eat that with gusto and if they don't then you can worry. But only if they have eaten nothing else and the weather is lovely, oh and they are not in heat.

Thanks all for the advice. In the last 24 hours their bounce has returned and they have started eating more normally - ie combo of concentrates and veg (they're next to my allotment so get stuff from there). I also spoke with an experienced pig keeper near me and his advice was much the same as yours - if they're not now showing other signs of illness except for the dip in enthusiasm for concentrates, then just to keep an eye on them. We had a (nearly) dry day today and they have been busy excavating the field and nearly upended me as I went into the enclosure with a bucket which I was pretty cheerful about given how worried I have been about them.

Bodger- I don't have any mates nearby who would opt for a spot of mud wrestling (only recently moved here) - I do however spend more time than I ever though possible falling over and getting covered - thanks god there are no cameras.

Anyway - thanks again. Without lots of people around me, this forum is a source of huge support and reassurance when things get a bit scary sometimes.
