Cockerel wanted- Sheffield/Peak District area...have you reared one this year that you can't face giving the chop to?  :chook:

Yes, I've got one. He's a large fowl, maran X. He's very pretty and a pleasant bird, but he keeps chasing my Brahma cockerel, and the Brahma is such a wimp he isn't getting any food.
You're welome to have the maran X if you ever happen to be up our way. I live near Goole. If it's too far for you, or if no one else is interested in him, then I'm having him shot.
