Hello hello     we're down the road from you about 30mins, also have a mill pond, we're called Dod Mill on the A697 halfway between Westruther and Lauder, we don't have a website up and running yet, still a building site!  Please pop in if you are passing this way!  Daisy's Mum on here is very near you and keeps Zwartables too.  Welcome to TAS, it's a great website.

I really like TAS - a brilliant website . Lots I would like to post, may-be for a rainy day eh - too much to do when the sun is shining.

Thanks for your commiserations about the sheep incident. It was a truly horrid experience and we are still nursing one of the lambs. Life goes on though eh and just have to put on a happy face and get on with things. Today, I have to fix our motorised scythe and do some serious weeding.

Hi I am new to this forum.  My daughter is nearly 16 and as stated in my first message she is passionate about everything smallholding!  We are trying to see if anyone in the Scottish Borders would be interested in giving Eleanor a tour of their smallholding and even the odd bit of work experience.  We are not very agricultural ourselves and would like to encourage Eleanor in her love of nature, wildlife, livestock etc.  Hope to hear from you soon.
