hello James,
I have only ever had bantam frizzles , but they were all really lovely little things. They look exactly like feather dusters and always seemed to be very much more tame and friendly than all the other chickens. I just treated them the same as all the other chickens , apart from they can get picked on , so keep an eye open for them . Apart from the main rooster , a really huge Light Sussex , they are the only individuals I can remember from 30 odd years ago.

Thank you Russ, it's me to the rescue again. I think folk know I'm daft, I look forward to them arriving whenever,  they do look odd!

I think they are cute.  Some of them look really pretty and fluffy, but some of them look like they've been dragged through a hedge backwards.

The guy that came to see me last week with the sob story asking me to rehome his 2 Frizzles came in tonight and told me that he had found a home for them. I was raging as we had agreed that I would take them and I had gone to the trouble of organising a house etc for them, I was keeping them seperate from the others for sleeping. I can't believe anyone would be so rude, I don't even know this chap and in he comes with the story that if I don't take them he will have to kill them! >:(

On a cheerier note my new hen house and 4 new hens are arriving tomorrow afternoon. :chook:

Now don't go putting salt in his pudding next time he eats in the hotel! ;)

He probably just got some money offered for them...
How were you getting on today with the new birds? How exciting, I must come and see when they have settled in! :&>  :chook:

The 4 new additions have settled in well and surprisingly there have been no fights that I know about. They are very timid of us at the moment but I'm sure in a few days they will be as friendly as the others. The new coop was delivered during that torrential rain yesterday so the job for today is to get it built, then the old coop is all yours Kirstin. :)
