[Small Plot Big Ideas]

I've had the whole plan roughly sorted out in my head for a while now -

• Take the pigs off to slaughter around the 11th or 12th November (just over 6 months old)
• I've found an abattoir which sounds good and planned to book with them soon.
• I was just about to request a couple of days off work for the occasion
• We even ordered a brand new trailer on Saturday (although that's not just for these pigs!)

Then I received a letter at the weekend telling me I have to report for jury service in Newcastle starting on Mon 11 Nov! 


I had a look on the form but I couldn't see "taking pigs to slaughter" as a valid excuse for deferring it...

sorry no constructive help possible, can you delay taking them a week or even get them in a week earlier?


tell the jury people you believe everyones guilty of something so should be punished anyway :-D theat might get you off!!!
