Getting the girls & boys ready to tupping!

Well it's a full day booked in for Sunday! Trim everyone's back end and worm them put the raddle powder on the boy.....I have one question though I have a ewe who lambed later June time I'm plannin on sepersting her is this right or shall I leave her in? She still as her lamb with her.

I'd leave her in, Whats the worse that could happen? She'd get in lamb.

Bringing her out of a flock will only stress her out, If she's not ready to get in lamb physically Then she wont. You've got nothing to loose. the ram may catch her later down the line. :)

 :sunshine: I agree, I had a ewe with triplets that need extra feeding last summer so I put her in with the rams who were getting cake at the time. Everyone said that being a welsh mountain she'd not get preganant and that it was the best place for her! She went on to have twins, conceived in summer! She had 5 lambs in one year and reared them all!
