Gavin,
I was advised to get some recently to make sure my ram lambs were up to weight before selling. I was soaking for 24 hours and sharing it between lambs and pigs. My pigs don't care much for it though.

My pigs love it  ;D
We soak it for a minimum of 12 hours for pigs and give with their existing feed (cut back on the pig nuts a bit though or else they'll get fat)

Gavin it's fine to feed to pigs. You don't need to soak it first like you would for horses. It's a good filler if your pigs are a bit fat but isn't a complete feed for long term use. I would mix it in with their normal feed.
