Did you play an instrument or were you a singer?
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

So why don't you have a piano in the house?  You could try Freecycle!

I did keyboards in the70['s but not piano, organ - two keyboards with rythm box and pedals.

Would love a piano now though, my aunt used to play in a working mens club in bradford and she was excellent - would love to learn it.

Tara my daughter is learning the guitar, and I must try too.  We both play the tin whistle and recorder together - but neither of us are gifted with a good singing voice ::)

We always had a piano until we moved to a small bungalow and then I had a keyboard, I loved it, the name escapes me for now but it was a small portable one but cost a lot to buy, that was what I used to take with me, we had regular slots at different working mens clubs and we also had our groupies, as I was very young I used to end up with little kids ;D ;D Then it I became ill (Hong Kong FLU) so could not do all the Christmas gigs and after 4 months off I packed it all in, mum then bought herself a bigger organ, she played well, it had all the rhythm's and sounds etc, I loved  making up tunes but no way was I good and my piano playing was bash it and see!!!! But, I would like one but don't really want the bother?????

Anyway, BBC 4 was a trip down memory lane, some of it a bit boaring but it was good to see the young groups, I used to love "The Family" and "Jethro Tull" I believe he has a fish farm somewhere in Scotland. :)

Strange looking bloke he is/was, I suppose he looks normal  now!!! I remember he used to stand on one leg all the time, I was mesmorised when he was on stage as he played in a club where I used to live as a teenager......I liked "Living in the past"

That is a really good tattoo!!! I was surprised he came from Dunfirmline!! There used to be brilliant artwork on Album covers in the 70's, my cousin was a session artist then and started off with "The Love Affair" just left before they had their major hit, everlasting love, he went onto several other groups and a group called English Rose in which they made a film Groupie girl, where they released a single from "Yesterdays Hero's"  I liked that song but it don't come to anything, the film however was poorly made but good social History, he comes to Scotland regularly and loves it and feels his roots are here, hang on, I'm sure I've said this on here before!!!!
