What  breed are you after? I could do some 3/4 Indian Game or Indian game x Light sussex hatching eggs. Our boys killed out last year at 2.4 kg average of this cross. Not huge but enough for us. I have 3x 3/4 Indian Game chicks about 4-6 weeks old off heat and outside.
We are exmouth or honiton.

Thanks, that sounds good.  I'm not fussed about the breed, I'm after flavour and good quality meat!  2.4kg isn't too bad, about what I expected.  Do you have a photo of this cross?
What are your prices for the hatching eggs? I'd probably be after 1doz depending on hatch rate. I can collect quite easily as I'm in Newton Abbot.  I'm presuming you kept the ladies for laying?

Hi, yes kept the girls for laying. They are quiet and friendly and lay quite well. Will try and post pic- or could email some? AS not sure how to post here but will give it a go..
They are quite IG looking in body shape with pea combs and are mid/dark brown with some lacing.

I have 3 IGxgirls and 1x LS laying- 2 . So it would take a few days at the most to get you enough eggs. Also have a Salmon Faveroll hen running wit the IG cockerel if you would like a mix of breeds to try?
Does £1/egg sound ok?

I could meet you in Exeter or somewhere if getting to Exmouth is a pain- traffic awful here due to the grockles.

Forgot to say hatch rate has been very very good have at worst only 1 egg not hatch/late death inshell out of 3x 6 eggs incubated this and last year.

Thanks for that, sounds really good!  Inserting an image is quite easy – when you reply there’s a button underneath the ‘B’ for Bold which you click on to upload an image…

Our incubator is flat out at the moment with all sorts going thru it so not sure how many eggs I can fit in!  I’d like to try a cross with the Faverolle too.  I’ll confirm quantities in the next few days probably either 6 or 12, or somewhere in between! And the price sounds fine too.

Just one more question - What age where they when you killed them last year?

I’ll confirm re collection too – I’m quite used to grockles having lived in Devon all my life!!  What would we do without them!

Hello again

I’d like to go for these please!  Could I have half a dozen of each of the sussex/IG and faverolle/IG?

As for collection, I could ask my brother to collect today if they’re ready as he’s near Exmouth all day?  If not then I could arrange for perhaps Saturday?

Let me know!

Thanks
