have a look at youtube for abscess and cysts ... but make sure you have a strong stomach

Lol I was a vet nurse for 18 years so quite used to abscess  lancing. Infected anal glands are one of the worst smells especially in you are unlucky enough to get it in your hair!


Text vet last night to ask if I could lance it and give antibs he has said yes and flush with iodine

Sorry no spare hands to video as OH was in charge of belly rubs.
Mattjen not been inj in that area. Think it may have been from the hedgerow, she tends to go in for a poop and a mooch. So maybe a thorn or caught on a branch, but hadn't noticed any wounds. Probably never know but relieve we know what it is now.


Now to see if she is as good the morning for another flushing session :fc:
