Hebridean tup wants a new home
« on: August 14, 2013, 08:11:38 pm »
Hi.
After a difficult year we have decided to downsize and not lamb again for a while.
We have Colin, our Hebridean tup, unregistered I'm afraid, aged 6 or 7.
He may go back to the Isle of Coll where he came from, unless anyone else wants to give him a home?
He's been a good father to lots of lambs and is scared of himself, so no bother whatsoever.
If anyone is interested we are in central Scotland.
He's free but you'd need to pick him up.
We just can't bear to slaughter him when he's so sweet and could go on to father more lovely lambs.
Thanks

Hi.
We are in Callander near Stirling.
If you are interested in other Hebs we have 5 ewes ( or 4, can't remember!!!....) which we were going to sell at the auction in September in Stirling ( not free though I'm afraid)
Also we were going to take 4 ewe lambs ( but they are Colin's) and we have some castrated boy lambs.
If you are not interested in any others that's absolutely fine. ( Just that you said you were looking at small flock) My priority is to find Colin a home.
If you want to visit first, or just come and take him just pm me.
Thank you very much

Oh dear. I don't know how to send a personal message either!!!!
I'll see if I can find out!!!!
We have 5 heb ewes, 2 wethers from last year and 3 boy lambs from this year.
I've no idea about price.
We sold at auction last year for the first time and our ewe lambs went for either £27 or £28 each, the ewes less but I've forgotten.
If you want to come and have a look we can certainly negotiate.
I'll see if I can work the pm stuff out
Sorry.
Thanks
