Hi there

I picked up 6 new pedigree shetland sheep this saturday from the Thorsgill flock, they are mainly from Rench lines and are quite chunky!
I bought 5 shearling ewe lambs, 2 black, 2 white and 1 grey katmoget and I also bought a new ram as the ram I have is not pedigree, so as I now have pedigree ewes I will need a pedigree ram! (thats what was said to convince my BF anyway

)
My other shetland ram will now be vasectomised and used as a teaser
New shetland ram "Hadrian" beat up "Rambo" and is now the boss, although we thought it would be the other way around as this was Rambo's turf!!
Hoping next month when we introduce our ram lamb, there wont be as much fighting!
The girls are all tamish and I already am able to stroke and scratch one of them

Hadrian has a poor horn set but he has lovely wool, so not minding so much

New shetland girls (big one is shetland cross ryeland)

Going to put all the pedigree girls to Hadrian for first lambing, then after that they can go to the commercial tup, will breed replacements and a few shetlands from Hadrian
Love my shetlands
