Wobbly quail
« on: June 13, 2013, 07:04:25 pm »
A couple of my chicks are having difficulty keeping their feet, they stagger about a lot and fall over when they are then pecked by the others. I did have them under a brooder but I think they were cold as they seem much happier with the heat lamp.

Well after spending most of the day thinking about the best way to dispatch a chick who was unable to even stand, went through tonight to top up food and water and its running about with the others. So glad I gave it a chance, but I wouldn't try them again with the brinsea brooder it's definately not warm enough.
