In praise of Goat Nutrition Ltd

Not sure if this is allowed - but I'm not advertising - just wanted to share with you the outstanding help I've had from Goat Nutrition.  I bought my milking machine from them (and lots of other sundries) and on Saturday morning - it would be a weekend! - it developed a fault and barely managed to get enough pressure to milk.  I sent an email outlining the problem while it was fresh in my mind and resigned myself to handmilking until today at the earliest, not an easy prospect as the only reason I bought the machine is that my auto-immune disease makes the repetitive actions of milking painful and slow to the point of being impossible.

Within an hour Bruce Dolby who owns the business had telephoned and, having established there was no quick fix, took time away from entertaining friends to lunch and met me to swap my faulty motor for a new one so I could carry on milking while a solution is worked out.  Obviously it helps that I am in the same county but even so I am hugely impressed (and grateful) for his commitment to customer satisfaction so I wanted to spread the word.  Quite literally a case of going the extra mile!

I've bought from them in the past, only a few sundries, nothing big, but even so Bruce has always been very helpful and delivery is quick too.

I bought from them too and they've been fantastic! Really useful to have a goat specific company when usually we have to rely on everything that is geared up for sheep or cows! well done again Bruce  :)  They also sell on ebay too.

That's very impressive and how a business should be run. I've bought from them and will do again.

Always found Bruce to be amazingly helpful - even came up with a solution for my self suckling milker in the form of anti nail biting lotion (which he uses on his parrot apparently to stop it pulling out it's feathers!)

Totally agree with all that has been said re GN. I have some reciprof parts from them and my milk filters and Capriclense too. I just last night thought of using "StopNGrow" to stop a kid from stealing too much milk from an aunt that has adopted her. I use 3M bandage tape but she can and does open that..
