Alderney is a nature lovers paradise, here are just some pictures of the sights that we've seen.

We snapped this stonechat yesterday.

but the real stars of the day were the gannets.

Kaz and I had quite a treck in the afternoon but eventually we found these.

Brilliant photos.    I LOVE Gannets.   Went out to Grassholm last summer and the spectacle of the Gannets not only on the rock but flying 'with us' overhead and DIVING right alongside the boat was just amazing.  I was totally enthralled by the spectacle.
Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again !!

Smashin pics  . Just getting back into the birds, and in particular recognising them by their song. If only people opened their eyes and ears, instead of playing with their phones and tablets!

Today, Kaz and I spent an hour sheltering from the rain in a hide overlooking a small nature reserve. Enjoy  We did.

There were hundreds of swallows and martins swooping over the pool and the reedbeds. They were beautiful to watch.

We also had another bash at the stonechats, we managed to get cock and hen.

Now then, what about these, what do think they are?

Just a guess, whitethroat ?
