I use Brinicombe's Mineral Powder added to feed.  I introduced it gradually and now they love it.  Comes in a big tub that lasts for ages, easy to give and great results.  When I got my first milker her milk was mildly goaty but since using the minerals all my girls give wonderful milk, they've also kidded well.

Would highly reommend Brinicombes Premium Goat Balancer.......it has everything a goat could ever need !!
Drenching has the inherent risk of causing pneumonia due to some liquid going down the airway.  It also causes a great deal of stress.   So adding minerals in feed has to be the right way.

The problem with adding it to the feed if they're off their food for any reason they're not getting it when they need it most. I was using the mineral powder but have gone back to drenching for now because of that.

That's exactly my problem with any powdered stuff in their feed. It also seems that the girls - just a few weeks after kidding when they need all the minerals they can get - are really picky about their food...

I have given my girls the JG Animal health sheep drench with added copper. I use that one on my ewes too. It smells exactly like the Adam Henson goat drench... some love it (one of my ewes tries to lick the drenching gun and queue-jumps to get it ::) ), my goats are just in principle against anything that they have to eat without asking their consent first... so it is a battle to get it down them.
