Went to the Eden Project today. Let me start by saying I enjoyed it.it cost £23.50 each to get in which I though a tad expensive. Luckily we had a BOGOF through Gardeners World mag... But if you didn't it would be an expensive day if you have kids.
Two things amused me. One ... That as a charity the fee wassi high and the. They ask you to give gift aid on top if the entry fee meani g that make even more. Fine .. But I'd be more inclined to do so if you lowered the price making it more accessible to all, but that's the grumpy man in me.
Second is the virtuous ness if being environmentally fried ly which I myself try to do.... But the you look at how much concrete seems to have gone into such a place and think maybe they should have taken more advice about being "Eco" in the first place. Not a criticism really as enjoyed the day...... And Cornwall is rather nice isn't it.Nearly as good as Derbyshire...
