Kids have gone
« on: May 03, 2013, 11:13:41 am »
Kids went off to their new home yesterday and now I have 2 very vocal mummies, the kids were 3 and 4 months old so will the mums milk just dry up itself or do I need to do anything, don't fancy trying to milk pygmys.

Keep an eye on the udders, make sure they don't get mastitis or hot and swollen, cut down on protein feeds, just hay,

Just stop feeding anything other than hay as Tizaala says. They should be ok. If you can I would also keep them in for a few days, grass is quite rich at the moment.
