Ours started today aswell. OH is going away for the next four days so I'm on my own.


Now I remember that awful gnawing in my tummy feeling - hoping they're going to be OK and worried that Mum is going to reject them or they are not going to get a feed or they are going to weaken and die.


Hasn't happened yet so statistically - there's got to be a first time.

I'm the same suziequeue, it's great to have have 50 straightforward lambings from my Shetlands but it does mean that apart from courses I don't get any practice with tricky lambings. Not that I want it, but it does mean you are always a novice every year and worry about if you will cope if and when help is needed!!
