there is no better manure than pig dung.

are you not on a allotment ? if so i would have thought they would be queing up for it.
we can still learn if we are willing to listen.

way back in time pig muck had a value that would bring in enough money to feed your pigs.

a friend of our gets £15 a 4 x 6 trailer load buyer collects.

we swap ours for straw so we only pay 40p a bale to cover the cost of srting and fuel.
we can still learn if we are willing to listen.

Did anyone watch the Kevin McLeod serier 'Man made home' on ch 4 about his 'shed' in the woods ? To call it a shed doesn't do it justice IMHO - but that's what he said  ;)
It was a great series covering loads of different handmade/repurposed/recycled items, he made a bio-gas digester which produced methane using poo  :o Initially it was dog poo that sparked the idea and his plan was to use a composting toilet with a couple of pipes and an expansion tank - on the programme it worked well (so well both Bruce and I were watching very closely  :D) Apparently poo from carnivores is best (they ended up getting some lion dung from Longleat to start the whole thing off) because of the way it rots and releases gas, but I've been  and wonder if that might be another way to use up the pig poo ?
Sorry, just thinking out loud really  ;D
