Do you know someone with a small baler?  My Neighbour has offered to break open and rebale a large bale before for me (he's retired and just enjoys doing stuff!!!) - might be an option if you have any such lovely neighbours.  If I had a small baler and a big barn I think Id do some of that and resell!

My farmer did try to do that and it took ages and just made a mess.  That's why he suggested bagging up a split large bale.

Wytsend, how do you dispose of theused sawdust?  I don't think it rots down like straw.
