This afternoon while having a coffee break I put on the Antiques Road Trip. Interesting. Did you know that in 1936 Dunlop made wellie boots for sheep to help them recover from foot rot. Paste was put onto the affected area then the boot. They also had a lovely little set of 4 leathers boots to fit a goat on parade. So cute and well made. :goat: :sheep:

Well I never, I thought they were invented by the grand old Duke of  the Welly....how sweet to put them on sheep...I would like some for the dogs then they could take them off like I do when they come in!!

There are boots for dogs.  They were originally used for injuries and recently  police handlers started  using for dogs going into areas with broken glass etc.

Unfortunately the USA freak dog owners got hold of he idea and dress their dogs in designer shoes

Oh, they are sooo sweet. I would like my dog to have the pink ones to match my own wellies. Don't think he would be keen though

I thought those boots were great Sabrina. We always watch the Antiques Road Trip, its a brilliant programme. This series was particularly good, owing to them getting the pairings just right! I'd love some of those goat boots, and Im sure the boys would love them too. They really seem to hate the mud.

I want some boots for my girls - red to match their collars.  Must be co-ordinated.
