Black Minorca eggs for sale
« on: March 27, 2009, 01:09:04 pm »
Even though these are selling well for incubating we have so many hens that we have surplus eggs. Yes I have tried lots of the recipes that use lots of eggs  ;D

Anyway if anyone would like to incubate minorca eggs I can supply them in quantities of six for £3.00 plus first class post which with the packaging etc works out at £4.50, if you add £1.50 for every six more you require. I have had excellent fertility with these even when posted out. They are show quality birds and are completely free range, fed on gm free organic food and wormed regularly. Not too bad for eating either as the cockerels grow to around 9lbs. You will be send the freshest eggs from that day.

Looks beautiful - and hens look super.  I think I have plenty hens to look after just now but I might consider these if my egg sales keep on the way they are at the moment.  Do they lay darker eggs?

Still available and fertility through the post is excellent, open to offers as have loads surplus, are exceptionally good layers and the cockerels make good meat birds. We have hatched 40 this year and the ratio of females to males has been very good.

Have quite a number in the incubator, bronze broadbreasted and whites, also have a bronze stag and hen which will be with me shortly, on their holidays at the moment, what were you looking for?

What do you think??

I am not sure which are better for eating, the broad breasted bronze grows to be a large bird 12lbs upwards, I always am of the opinion that if you rear them free range and look after their dietary needs properly then you can add to the taste of the bird which will be a lot better than shop bought ones. It is personal preference I suppose. Sorry can't be of much help in which bird would be the best to eat, I know that mine will be a bronze turkey this year.

Hi
Do you still have black minorca hatching eggs for sale, I'm looking to put half a dozen in the incubator on March 9th, so they'd need to be posted on about March 6th.
      Thanks
