Has anyone had any experience with Dominique chickens - what they are like as a bird, how long they take to mature, how many eggs and how long they take to start laying?

I phoned someone about some rare breed birds and he said that these are a good breed being both rare and good layers. But I just wanted to hear what other people think of them.
