I'm speechless.

(I wanted to post an empty post but it wouldn't let me.)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

One has to wonder why a VET would do such a thing.

That's just wrong. What's going to happen as it gets a bit bigger. Should have been put to sleep straight away.

My son told me all about this morning and I couldn't believe it.  We had a big discussion about it.  I just can't stand this sort of thing.   just because we can, really doesn't mean we should. It disgusts me.

At least he is mobile and has sort of quality of life. As he grows the frame of course will have to be made bigger, but being a pet it may be fed a low protein diet to allow for slower growth...
