She's had a good life, and was one of our first chickens, from day one she was really friendly -although she really didn't like laying eggs !
Where ever we were in the garden she was always with us, I know she was nearly 7 but it was really upsetting to see her go down hill over the last week.  We couldn't find anything obviously wrong with her but she died earlier today.  :(

:bouquet: she has had a loving home where she lived longer than many a hen. It is a sad time but also a time to look back on what you gave her and be proud. She was most likely just fading with her age.

That's sad CarolW, but a good age for a hen to get to. She was fortunate to have such a caring home.

:bouquet:  She was obviously well loved and lived to a very good age. Lucky little hen.
