I was at a show yesterday with a new travelling companion who had read a very interesting book..  He said he never read at all but someone gave him a present of this and he couldn't put it down.  Called the dog listener I think, written by Jan something - anyone know of it?

The best book I ever read was Think Dog .
Got this one too  ::) I second it being a good read. The author, Peter Neville,  has done some good seminars on dog behaviour and has great methods of speech to get you thinking 'dog'

Thanks for the link about the crate training, our puppy goes in at night no problem but still 'wets the bed' so interesting to read about taking the water away earlier. Will try it tonight
