our 2 go Monday.....looking at Hugheseys post is it worth rotovating/harrowing this time of year and planting with kale?    would be good to get some winter greens before next years piggies :sunshine:
I'd like to but way too wet now unfortunately.

Thanks for all your advice guys!

I kind of knew it was a bit of a mission impossible, just wanted opinions before telling my boss!  Will keep you posted of how things go.  Also appreciate the reseeding advice - think I'm going to need it!

Goosepimpe, when you say you can't put different livestock on old pig ground for 6 months... does that include hens ... and why?

I am going to sub soil the paddock as soon as I can .. so probably spring but if we get 7 days dry I might give it a go ..

Going to try some Barenbury ProPig forage grass this year (2013) and as always chuck some red clover in
