Hi im trying to find a local abattoir i live in Keyworth south nottingham my local one has closed help please

We are  not too far from you (postcode DE72) and use Coates at Alrewas near Burton on Trent.  They are on the Good Abattoir guide (I did the write up) and they are highly recommended.  Pigs are only done on a Monday.  PM me if you want to know more.

thank you all for your quick response that is very helpfull will check them out the one i used last year was at sixhills just off the a46 it was not open very long but did all livestock melton ltd has now took over but only do cattle thanks again

Hi, if you can travel slightly further there is the one we use in Grantham (Lincolnshire meat). OH says it is a bit of a 'mare for reversing trailers in and out of, but they are pretty used to watching people fail. Pigs usually on a Wednesday.
