Have a wee tester when your racking it, or a couple of wee testers just to make sure... :D
registered soay, castlemilk moorit  and north ronaldsay sheep, pygmy goats, steinbacher geese, muscovy ducks, various hens, lots of visiting mallards, a naughty border collie, a puss and a couple of guinea pigs

So did anyone have any luck with this?

I've been stopping a few demijohns that I had neglected over the last few months, including the watermelon. Ours wasn't good for anything but the drain :-(

OHs spring oakleaf with watermelon in it as an ingrediant has turned out fine - not my favourite of the ones he makes but drinkable all the same.
